Processing Times

Processing times vary based on whether your piece is Ready to Ship, Made to Order, or Build Your Own (BYO). Please review the processing details on the product page before placing your order, especially if you have a deadline. Please note: UPS does not deliver our packages on weekends.

Ready-to-Ship: Ships in 1–3 business days (excluding federal holidays).

Made-to-Order: Each made-to-order piece has a unique processing time. Be sure to review the specific item's processing details on its webpage before placing your order.

Build Your Own (BYO): BYO pieces are created specifically for you after purchase and are completed within 10 weeks at this time. 

We ship Mondays through Thursdays via UPS. We do not ship on Fridays to prevent shipments from lingering in UPS warehouses over the weekend. Keep in mind that delays can occur with UPS, so please be prepared for any potential hiccups.

Shipping Methods

All domestic US orders are shipped via UPS Next Day Air. At Lavender Creek Gems, we believe exceptional jewelry deserves exceptional care in transit. Rather than choosing slower shipping methods, we prioritize next-day service for most pieces to reduce time in transit and provide a more secure delivery experience.

Orders $2000 ship free via UPS Next Day Air. All orders will require a signature upon delivery. International orders are excluded from this promotion. 

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. To protect the security of your package, all orders must be shipped to a permanent physical address. We are unable to ship to PO Boxes, hotels, Airbnbs, or other temporary delivery locations..

All packages will be fully insured and packed in unbranded boxes for discreet shipping.

Security & Delivery

For your security, we strongly recommend against routing your package to carrier pickup locations (such as UPS Access Points, UPS Stores, or similar). While rare in our experience, package theft has become increasingly common nationwide. These locations are not considered secure, and once a package is scanned as “delivered” to an Access Point or local store, insurance coverage ends immediately.

The safest option is to have your order delivered directly to your home or to a trusted address where someone will be available to sign for it. Please note that Lavender Creek Gems cannot assume responsibility for packages that are redirected, rerouted, or collected from carrier facilities.

Our shipper will attempt delivery three times and if there is no one available to sign for a package, the package will be returned to us. We will contact you to make arrangements for reshipment once we receive the returned package. Any reshipping costs are the customer's responsibility.

Address Changes

If you need to update your shipping address, please contact us as soon as possible. Once a label has been printed, we’re unable to modify the address, and any changes made directly through UPS will void insurance coverage. Lavender Creek Gems cannot be responsible for packages that go missing due to a customer-initiated address change after the label has been created.

International Orders

All international shipments will be shipped via UPS, signature required.

Please Note: Your country may charge additional import duties, taxes, or customs fees in order to release your package. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.

If a package is returned to Lavender Creek Gems because customs fees were refused or left unpaid, the customer may choose to have the package reshipped once it has been received back by us. In that case, the customer will be responsible for the cost of reshipping the package. International delivery timeframes do not include customs clearance. Lavender Creek Gems is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing or local import procedures.

If the returned package is instead abandoned or canceled after being returned to us, a 30% restocking fee will apply and will be deducted from the refund.

Tracking

You will receive a shipping confirmation email when your order has been prepared for shipment. Tracking information will be provided in this email. Please allow up to 3 business days for your tracking number to update after your shipping label has been created.

Planning Ahead

To ensure a smooth and stress-free experience, we strongly recommend having your ring in hand well before finalizing any proposal plans. While we take great care to meet stated timelines, proposal dates should not be scheduled based on estimated delivery.
