Complimentary LCG Jewelry Inspection

This service is for Lavender Creek Gems customers who need to return a piece for repair, such as a lost stone, a prong issue, or other concerns with their ring. Once your request is processed, we will email you with return instructions. Once your piece arrives at our studio, we will inspect it and identify the issue. You’ll receive a detailed update and, if a repair is needed, we will provide an estimate for your approval before any work begins.

• Detailed Assessment: Each piece is carefully reviewed to confirm the problem and determine the necessary repair.
• Warranty Repairs: Covered repairs are completed at no cost to you.
• Out-of-Warranty Repairs: If the repair is not covered, we will provide a cost estimate before proceeding.

Cleaning Disclaimer

Please ensure your ring is thoroughly cleaned before shipment. If your piece arrives unclean, a $100 cleaning fee will be applied before service can begin. For guidance, please review our Jewelry Care Guide.

Typical Repairs

Typical repairs include resetting or replacing a lost stone, tightening prongs, and ensuring settings remain secure.

Important: Lavender Creek Gems does not perform prong repairs. If a prong is missing, the piece must be remade in full. A remake ensures that the new prongs are built into the structure of the piece, rather than patched onto weakened metal. This process preserves the long-term durability of your setting and guarantees your jewelry is restored to the same high standards of craftsmanship as when it was originally created.

Turnaround Time
The service timeline depends on the work required and will be confirmed after your piece has been evaluated.

• Minor services, such as prong tightening or stone resetting, are typically completed within 3 weeks.

• If a full remake is required, the ring follows our standard made-to-order production timeline, as it is being created from the ground up. This process includes removing and securing your original stones, creating a new CAD, crafting a new setting, and resetting the stones once complete. 

A personalized timeline will be provided after inspection, based on the scope of work.
