Production & Timelines

We kindly encourage you to begin the process at least three months in advance of any special occasion. This summer, we experienced an unusual surge of rush requests, and while we deeply understand the excitement, our goal is to create a stress-free experience for everyone involved. Planning ahead ensures your ring is complete well before travel or celebrations, giving you peace of mind and allowing us to devote the proper care to your piece.

Every single Made-to-Order ring — including Build Your Own — is crafted just for you, built around your chosen center stone with precision down to the millimeter. Brianna personally oversees and refines every design before it enters production, ensuring each ring reflects the highest standards of craftsmanship. These are not mass-produced molds but individually developed custom CADs that become heirloom-quality pieces.

Much of the process is still done by hand — from refining details to pouring the casting itself. This artisanal approach, blended with CAD precision, is what makes our work so distinct. For this reason, we ask for the full timeline to complete your ring:

  • Build Your Own: 10 weeks
  • Made to Order: 8 weeks

Most pieces are completed sooner, but we reserve this time to account for the unexpected — ensuring that even if manufacturing delays arise, your ring is delivered with the integrity and quality it deserves. We strongly encourage you to wait until your ring has arrived before making any proposal/travel plans. Our timelines are estimates, and while we do strive to create your ring in a timely manner, perfection and quality is our number one goal. We do not send out anything that Brianna would not wear herself. 

For clients seeking a fully from-scratch design, custom commissions are available on a very limited basis and begin at a $10,000 minimum investment, reflecting the depth of collaboration involved in working directly with Brianna.

Diamond & Gold Update

As gold prices continue to rise, I’ll be updating all made-to-order listings, including engagement rings and wedding bands over the next few weeks to reflect these changes.

Moving forward, all side diamonds in our made-to-order designs will feature premium lab-grown diamonds by default. This change helps offset the continually rising cost of gold while giving you more control over your preferences. I know many of you love having the option of lab-grown diamonds, and this approach allows me to keep pricing consistent without having to constantly adjust listings to match the volatility of the gold market.

For clients who prefer natural diamonds, an upgrade option to naturally mined diamonds will be available within each listing.

My one-of-a-kind rings will continue to feature a mix of both natural and lab-grown diamonds, depending on the center stone. Natural gemstone centers will remain paired with natural diamond accents, while lab diamond centers will include lab diamond accents for a cohesive and intentional design.

Many of our wedding bands can also be customized with alternative accent stones such as natural sapphires or colored diamonds, to create a personal touch that complements your engagement ring.

This approach allows me to continue offering the same artistry, transparency, and attention to detail while remaining adaptable as the industry evolves.

One of a Kind Rings

My most recent collection from September features one-of-a-kind rings crafted in a standard US size 7. Beginning with upcoming releases, I’ll be gradually transitioning to size 6.5 as the new standard, with a mix of both 6.5 and 7 available during this shift.

As the business continues to grow, keeping up with resizing requests has become increasingly difficult, and I’ve made the decision to pause all resizing services moving forward. Because of this, all one-of-a-kind rings will now ship exactly as listed and are not eligible for resizing after purchase.

In addition to these changes, I’ll be offering a wider range of sizes in future diamond and gemstone rings, giving more flexibility when selecting a piece that’s ready to wear.

This transition allows me to continue focusing on what matters most — designing, creating, and bringing new pieces to life for you.

What’s Available Right Now

Ready-to-Ship Rings

One-of-a-kind designs, crafted in standard US size 7, with a safe resizing range of +/- two sizes. If you choose to have resizing completed locally, your warranty remains valid so long as the two-size guideline is followed.

Ready-to-Ship Diamond Rings (Coming Soon)

Launching in the next few weeks, this collection will feature diamond rings in an array of sizes. These pieces will ship exactly as listed and will not be resized before shipping. You are welcome to arrange resizing locally if needed, and your warranty remains valid provided the work stays within the two-size guideline.

Resizing

As many of you know, resizing has been offered on and off throughout the year as I've balanced an incredible wave of orders and growth. After much consideration, I've made the decision to discontinue in-house resizing services for all in-stock rings, and will no longer be accepting any resizing requests for rings that have been delivered to you. This is effective October 14, 2025.

All ready-to-ship pieces will now be sent in their listed size as shown on our website.

If you need a different size, please know that you can still have your ring safely resized locally by a trusted jeweler. This will not void your Lavender Creek Gems manufacturing warranty, provided the resizing stays within a two-size range and follows our official resizing guidelines. These guidelines are in place to ensure the long-term beauty, structure, and integrity of your ring.

This change allows me to dedicate even more time and care to creating and fulfilling your pieces — something I’m endlessly grateful to continue doing for each of you.

Shipping & Delivery Guidance

Direct Delivery Only

For security reasons, we do not allow packages to be shipped to hotels, short-term rentals, or non-permanent addresses. All deliveries must be made to a permanent residential or business address.

Age Requirement

Recipients must be 21 years or older to receive your order. A signature is required for every package.

Shipping Method

For security, we ship exclusively via overnight service in the US. This ensures the fastest and safest delivery possible.

Insurance Coverage

All packages are fully insured while in transit. Our insurance extends until the carrier marks the package as Delivered to the address on file. Once marked delivered, the package is considered fulfilled and is no longer insured.

International Deliveries

We are proud to serve our international clients. Please note that all shipments outside the United States are subject to customs clearance, tariffs, and import duties as determined by the receiving country. These fees are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in your Lavender Creek Gems purchase.

Delivery timelines may also be affected by the current tariff climate and customs processing times, which are outside of our control. Once international packages leave the United States, they are handled by local carriers and customs agencies, and delays can occur after dispatch. We kindly recommend allowing additional time for international deliveries.

Gift Cards

Lavender Creek Gems offers digital gift cards that make a thoughtful option for proposals, anniversaries, and special occasions. Gift cards are delivered electronically and may be applied toward any purchase on our website, including ready-to-ship and made-to-order pieces.

Policies at a Glance

  • Returns: A 20% restock fee applies to all returns. This policy is firm and helps us cover the time invested in each order, along with transaction and credit card fees that are not refunded by our e-commerce platform. We kindly ask for your understanding as this allows us to continue offering the level of care and service that goes into every Lavender Creek Gems piece.
  • Cancellations: Because we begin working on your order once it has been placed, we are unable to accommodate cancellations under any circumstances.
  • Design Integrity: We do not sell settings alone and do not ship settings or stones separately. Each piece is created complete and ready to wear.
  • Original Work: Lavender Creek Gems does not copy other designers’ work or reproduce outside designs.
