You can begin with either choice—select your setting first or choose your gemstone first, whichever you prefer. Once both are in your cart, simply complete your purchase to begin the process!

Settings are not available for individual purchase. Each setting must be purchased with a diamond or gemstone from our collection.

If you’re not yet ready to purchase a setting—or if your preferred setting is not currently available—you’re welcome to purchase the stone first. We’ll gladly hold it for you while you prepare to complete your ring.

Please note: stones can only be held for up to 30 days. If no setting has been selected within that timeframe and your order remains incomplete, the gemstone will be refunded minus a 30% restocking fee.

This policy ensures fairness to all customers and allows us to keep our stone offerings current and available. We encourage you to complete your ring selection within the 30-day window to avoid cancellation.

Yes, your chosen gemstone must be the same shape as your setting. Not all stones fit every design, so be sure to select a coordinating shape to ensure a proper fit.

Both a setting and a gemstone must be purchased together. If you check out with only one, don’t worry—we’ll reach out to you to make sure everything is correct before moving forward. However, to avoid delays, please double-check that both items are in your cart before completing your purchase.

Changes to your gemstone or setting must be requested within 24 hours of purchase. After that, your order begins the production process and can no longer be modified. This includes switching the center stone, changing the ring size, or selecting a different setting.

At this time, we only work with gemstones from our own collection and trusted suppliers to ensure quality, compatibility, and for liability reasons. We hope to offer the option to set client-provided stones in the future.

We frequently update our inventory with new gemstones. If you're looking for something specific, feel free to check back regularly, but we cannot guarantee availability for special requests.

Build Your Own gives you the opportunity to select your own center stone—whether it’s a lab-created diamond, natural diamond, colored diamond, or one-of-a-kind gemstone—and pair it with a preferred setting. It’s a more interactive way to create something meaningful without going through the full custom design process. Because the stone is reserved specifically for the order, all Build Your Own pieces are final sale.

If you do not want to choose your own stone, the Made to Order pieces might be a better fit! These designs feature center stones hand-selected using Brianna’s expertise—carefully chosen for their beauty, quality, and uniqueness. You just simply select your preferred metal and ring size, and the rest is taken care of with the same thoughtful attention to detail Lavender Creek Gems is known for.

Our Build Your Own rings are available as shown and cannot be modified beyond selecting your center stone. For fully custom designs, we offer a separate custom design process.

All settings in the Build Your Own collection are available in 14k and 18k gold (yellow, white, and rose) and platinum.

Yes, once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email or the Shop app. Please note that we do not update tracking until your item is prepared for shipment.

All Build Your Own rings are made to order and require approximately 6-8 weeks for production before shipping.

At this time, we are unable to accommodate rush orders. We recommend placing your order a few months in advance of any special occasion to allow for production, shipping, and any unexpected delays.

All diamond selections are final sale. Because your stone is sourced specifically for you and cannot be resold or restocked, we’re unable to accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once the order is placed.

Yes, all diamonds available through our feed come with a grading report (typically from IGI or GIA). You’ll receive this certification with your finished ring.

No, we do not sell loose diamonds. Your chosen diamond must be paired with a Lavender Creek Gems setting and will be crafted into a ring by our expert team. This ensures the integrity, quality, and craftsmanship we stand behind.

We strongly recommend getting sized by a professional jeweler in person before placing your order. While we do offer a free ring sizer (shipping costs apply), in-person sizing is the most accurate way to ensure the perfect fit. Resizing can affect a ring’s integrity, especially for certain designs, so it’s best to order the correct size from the start whenever possible.

Yes, all of our rings can be safely resized within two finger sizes. However, we are not offering resizing services at this time. You are welcome to have your ring resized locally, but please be aware that we are not liable for any damage caused by another jeweler, and we cannot guarantee their work. If your ring has been altered or worked on by another jeweler, we reserve the right to deny warranty repairs.

If your stone is damaged during setting, we will contact you immediately to discuss the next steps. Because many of our gemstones are one-of-a-kind and cannot be exactly replaced, we will do our best to find a comparable alternative. If no suitable replacement is available, we will work with you to explore the best possible solution.
